This beautiful fabric, which brings together pinks and blues, was made by a female artisan in Guatemala. While our founder, Joy, was in country, she personally sourced this for our Sisterhood collection.
This fabric is named after Reba Bowman, the founder and leader of Dare for More. Here's what our founder, Joy, had to say about her:
I will never forget the first time I met Reba. She came as part of a group to speak to the girls and mothers in our little house on the hill. Even though she spoke through a translator they were hanging on her every word. Later, she shared that God had impressed on her the night before that she should prepare and speak as if standing before kings and presidents. God was declaring identify and making sure those who served were in alignment with His truth about these precious girls. Reba got it! As she and her team walked down the rocky path to their bus I wanted to wrap my arms and legs around her and beg her not to go. I knew that day was the beginning. I knew she was a fellow warrior and I sensed the story of Dare For More and New Hope Girls would have eternal impact as we challenged the women and girls in our midst to Dare for More because they were Created for More.
