The Helina Card Pouch is part of our Sisterhood Collection, which celebrates the strength of coming together for the sake of girls everywhere! This beautiful fabric was sourced in Guatemala and made by female artisans. Our artisans, in the Dominican Republic, then sewed it into the beautiful bag you see here!
The bag is named after one of our very own, Helina. She is our Marketing and Events Manager and a bright beautiful light! Helina is known for using her voice and platform to advocate for women and girls and she does so with enthusiasm and a whole lot of fun.
Our founder, Joy Reyes (Helina's Mom!!) shared this: Helina has been a motivating force behind New Hope Girls since before it was born 13 years ago. She sparked conversations about how Dreaming for the girls we serve should really look like. Like serving our daughters! She is the litmus test for so much of what we do and to watch her invest and use her education and gifts for New Hope is a dream come true. This is legacy and she knows first hand how this trail was blazed, with tears and pain and sacrifice and yet she has chosen to walk with us on it.
Our card pouch is the perfect place to keep business cards or credit cards! These special pouches have a bonus, too, use the leather loop to attach it to a key ring. This small but mighty bag ensures that New Hope Girls can go with you wherever you go. We also love using it as a gift card holder, adding purpose to your present!
